tguy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Instead of doing what sounds like a repair to iTunes have you tried just going to Apple.com and downloading the executable to reinstall over the top of your current installation? Sounds basic but if you haven't tried it give it a whirl.Otherwise send me a PM and I'll try and help however I can.
Krabban Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Hey Tguy.I've got the exact problem as caboose. Itunes was bluescreening me so I decided to reinstall it, but I couldn't. The itunes.msi(?) file was missing. You were talking about downloading something from apple.com...? Could really use some help on this one. Obviously I'm not the only one with Itunes problems
Bethwagner Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I'm having the same problem. Tried re-installing, repairing, connecting a different iPod to the computer even, and no avail. If anyone can help me out, I'd be forever in your debt. I'm not really computer literate, and the iPods are my hubby's and son's. they both want new music, and i've messed everything up.
