genesiss Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 when i go to windows update url it gives me an error, i have done this with 2 difrent computers and i get the same errorWindows Update has encountered an error and cannot display.....am i doing something wrong????
webmedic Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 no I used to do this winth windows 98 but there are a handfull of registry keys you can use to not allow the use of windows update on your system you may have used those.
