aaronk Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hi all, I have an msp file that I created using the setup /admin command (office/project 2007) and I have choosen to save as type "project 2000-2003" (for example), I have also set other settings and they seem to be applied but when I open up project and click save it uses the new 2007 format. This is a clean install on a newly built Vista RC1 box, with a new user profile. Has anyone else experienced this and have a work around? I can't use GPOs as the machine will be entering an NT domain. I get the same experience with all new office 2007 products.CheersAaron
Kelsenellenelvian Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options]"DefaultFormat"="Doc"This reg will set word to save in the older, more recognized format I suppose you could find all of the rest of the settings in the reg after you set your preferences and then just install the reg file after office is installed..
