Unattended - Win2K - Appearance Tweaks Help

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I've been working on a mostly-unattended Win2K installation CD. I'd like to tweak the appearance of the finished installation and have resolved many settings. However, I have two current items I can't seem to find a way to set.

1) Desktop-->Arrange Icons By-->Auto Arrange

2) Windows Explorer-->View-->List

I've tried using RegShot to find a registry setting, but so far I've not been successful.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

add this to the reg. should do the trick.

;Set auto arrange desktop

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop]

"FFlags"=dword:00000225

yuzu_yen,

Thank you for the suggested fix. I gave it a try, but unfortunately, it didn't work on my system. It didn't change the Desktop to AutoArrange.

Thank you though.
