Marztabator
You know how you can choose to look at all your folders in either one main window or in seperate windows (Windows 9x style)? Well, I'd like to make the latter the default option in my unattended setup but I for the life of me haven't a clue as to where it stores the particular information for this setting. Does it store in the registry or someplace else? All help is very much appreciated, thanks.
rion
Hi There. I found something that might point you to the right location.Windows stores each folder's view settings and customizations in the registry, but this data is limited to 400 folders (200 local folders and 200 network folders) by default. The data for folder view settings and customizations is stored in the following registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\Bags
