Problem..Need help !

I've got a Notebook PC...HP pavilion dv1659ea

I wanted to install Windows XP professional form a bootable CD i've got

but before installing starts...It tells me it cannot find any hard drives

Although there are several ones

what's the problem exactly and how can i fix it ?
