hey all,

im installing 2k3 R2 unattended and need to call a external URL if setup is done so i know its done... but with the R2 all external connections are locked untill i manual click finish on the screen...

so i hope you guys now a way to skip this part and open all connections just without interacting.

im starting the setup2 via guirunonce from a batch file with those switches setup2.exe /a /q /sr

hope someone knows a way

Try Auto It 3. You can run Setupr2 from within the autoit script then use Autoit to send key presses or mouse clicks to R2. It will wait for the setup program. It's worked for me on a number of installation programs very well. :thumbup

All you need to do is configure your firewall settings in the registry before the first boot. If any firewall settings exist than Post-Setup Security Updates is not activated.
