Right need some help / advice :)

Two Win 2003 R2 SP1 Boxes

Both have two NIC's one onboard and one pci

The two servers are configured for unicast NLB mode.

So one adapter is the primary nic the other is the nlb nic, same for both boxes.

Both boxes are live on the net so the subnet is the same.

Both nics have been configured with the correct ip addresses, subnet and default gateways.

Now the issue every 12-18hrs the primary nic in each box cannot be pinged externally, ipconfig shows the default gateway has vanished.

Now after looking into it i found that only the nlb nic should be configured with a default gateway i tried this but the primary nic still can’t be accessed from the net or the second server.

Any ideas?
