My Tips for downloading hotfixes!

Add this link to your favourites...

Windows Catalog http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/cata.../en/default.asp

Windows Update http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

Now open these two links in different windows.

On the Windows Update page please Scan your updates.

Scan your Updates

When done.....Click on>Review and Install Updates.

Do not add, remove or download your updates at this moment.

Now we know what files to download.

Goto the Windows Catalog Page and click on "Find updates for Microsoft Windows operating systems"

Now goto the Windows Update page and copy your lists (example Q******,Q123456,...etc)..Once done

Goto> Windows Catalog page and locate your Operating System...select your language,then expand

your Advanced search options, and paste your Hotfix from your clipboard.

When search finishes.

Select from the list below to see updates found in each category.

When it expands....it will show you your list of updates and Click on Add

When done Click on> Go to Download Basket.

And now you can download your Updates by Browsing and Locating your Folder without

just installing your Updates and You can distribute it!

hugh funny i just use filemirrors. I plug in the q####### and kb###### and it gives me a nice listing of downloads and I jsut grab one for my lang right from the microsoft mirrors. Nice and fast.
