Can't see senders name in preview pane

I don’t know what I did, but for some reason, I cannot see the senders name in the preview pane. I can only see the subject of the e-mail in the preview pane and the actual e-mail on the right hand side. Can somebody offer any help? I googled, but amazingly, this particular problem or issue is not addressed anywhere.

Go to View->Arrange By->Current View->

Set it to Messages if it is not already checked

If it is already checked, go down to Customize Current View and click on the Fields button. You may now select the items you want displayed.
