I am a real whizz with Word 97 Templates, I created them all using forms that I locked and you could go to File, New and just open the template and tab from blank to blank. However, I am totally lost with Word 2003.

When I go to File, New - I get a box on the right that says something about find templates on my computer.

I started work for a new company and they wanted me to open a new folder under My Documents.

ABC Company

Templates

So then I went into Word and told - or thought I told - it where to find my templates - in My Documents\ABCCompany\Templates. But when I go to File- New I just cannot find them.

If I tell it to find templates on my computer, it finds the old templates.

I also had problems saving templates. It used to be in Word 97 that if you said it was a document template, Word would automatically save it in the Template folder - but this does not seem to happen with Word 2003.

Are the 2003 templates made with forms just like 97?

Can anyone help me please?
