Microsoft Office Word 2003

I am currently using Microsoft Office Word 2003 SP2 (11.8026). When I convert an .rtf file into another program, the footer is gone. I did not experience this behavior on my prior computer which had Microsoft Office Word 2003 SP2 (11.6568).

Any thoughts or suggestions?
