I remember in one of the service pack updates, them updating it so you could use more characters (im sure it was limited). Now, Im trying to find it again, to see what the limit on the ammount of characters you can have and I cant find it ... have m$ made it unlimited?

Id like to have each driver in its own folder ie \drivers\GFX\Nvidia;\drivers\GFX\Ati;drivers\SND\SBlaster etc and can see that my list is going to get long.

Maybe someone could test it out with adding something like Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test\Test;Drivers\Nvidia?

A 500 nested test folder would be an ideal test to see if it actually sees the nvidia drivers.

yes it was limited to 256 characters but I do mine more or less like this and I have allot of drivers and it works fine.

Last time I heard, the limit has increased to 4,092 characters for Windows 2000 (if i remember correctly) then it should apply for Windows XP as well.
