mmarable
CompName.exe should do the trick for you. I'm also sure you could script it using WMI.

JDCMAN
CompName.exe should do the trick for you. I'm also sure you could script it using WMI.compname?? where can i found it???Here.Make sure you run this BEFORE you join the computer to the domain. It will break any existing connections.I'm guessing you'd want to run it like this:(file location here)...\compname.exe -c COMPANY-?s (System Serial Number)OR(file location here)...\compname.exe -c COMPANY-?c (Chassis Serial Number)I'm not sure which the asset tag falls under. (99% sure it is System serial number)The output of that would be COMPANY-321654 if the asset tag was 321645.Hope this helps
