eager Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 (edited) On the Microsoft website I found a page:"Get started using Remote Desktop with Windows XP Professional"Getting Started with Remote DesktopIt shows an example of how to setup a remote desktop connection an it says:The Remote Desktop window opens, and you see the desktop settings, files, and programs that are on your host computer, which in this example is your work computer. Your host computer remains locked, and nobody can access it without a password. In addition, no one will be able to see the work you are doing remotely. Is there a way to configure the applications so that the Host desktop CAN watch what is done? aresgodofwar Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 i don't believe this is possible. RDC is setup like this by design. why don't you use remote assistance instead?
eager Posted September 7, 2006 Author Posted September 7, 2006 Thanks! It's good to know that RD doesn't allow me to do this.I haven't got any experience with remote assistance.though I solved the problem with Real VNC.Great, little, tool.
