August 20, 200322 yr hi all - just have one problem... when installing .net framework, the setup has to restart and continues upon reboot. is there anyway to prevent this, or anyway to automatically restart my batch file when framework installation is complete?cheerslee
August 20, 200322 yr So you don't use .NET Framework 1.1?Anyway, does 1.0 use an MSI file to silently install? If so, go here to find out how to supress the auto-reboot:http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/applicat.../wininstall.htm
August 21, 200322 yr Author I'm only on Dial-up and didnt think it was worth downloading 1.1 if I already had 1.0 on my XP cd.Its not an msi either, it's an exe - "Suite Integration Toolkit Executable"I found this line in the "XPSD.ini" file included in the framework foldergfn_pid core post reboot=0do you think that if I change the 0 to a 1 this would solve the problem?thanks
