It networked fine before and I didn't change any settings. I am trying to network through the cable internet line but it just wont let me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Aaron
first things first. Open up a command prompt window and ping your other machine and vice versa (do it in MS-DOS window in WinME) Let me know how it goes.btw, the command to ping is:PING X.X.X.XReplace X.X.X.X with the IP address of the computer. shar
Well we finally got ( had ) it figured out. We had to start from scratch on the Windows ME machine. But then two days later it lost the network again.:WTF?: I don't think it should lose settings after we turn the computers off. I'll see if it happens again. ( I never had this problem before XP ).Thanks for your help!!!
