Networking Trouble.....Errrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok, bear with me here.

I have three computers I am home networking. Two XP systems, and a ME system.

One of the XP system can read the ME system Just fine. they both love each other. They can both play games, and have a bunch of fun.

The other XP system can't do anything. It cannot read anything, or Go in to any games. its totally stranded

Ive set the TCP/IP standard on all the machines, and Ive also enabled NetBEUI on them all.

I went through the ''set up a home or blah blah computer'' many times, and tried variations of options, but that one XP system just cant ring in. Maybe I didnt try them all.

Ive also set manual IP adresses because the auto wasnt working. They all have the same subnet masks (255.255.0.0), still no cigar.

They are all hooked im through my hub, and all the lights are on.

Well, I hope I gave you enough information to solve my problem.

I disabled Every firewall, and still no cigar. I feel I am getting closer.

Whenever I try to connect the ''lonely'' XP system to the workgroup, it says ''Blah Blah is not acessible, you may not have the permission to use this network resource. the list of servers from this workgroup is currently unavailable''

Help anymore?

On your "lonely" XP system, try to ping your other two machines. Go to command prompt and type:

PING X.X.X.X

replace X.X with the numbers you assigned to the machines.

What do you get?

---------

Now on your two other "working" machines, try and ping the "lonely" XP system.

What do you get?
