i want to use the Mozy backup program, but it says that i cant run it from windows 2003. ive tryed running in windows xp compatiliby mode.

is there something i can do to make it look like im running xp?

Looks like they deliberately don't want you to run their software on Windows Server 2003. There might be a very good reason for it. Also - bear in mind that depending on an unsupported backup 'solution' is just crazy.

Perhaps you could run filemon and regmon to see what the software is using to determine which version of Windows it is running on?

I actaully did use it on windows 2003 for a few weeks, and then they made an update that caused it to require xp only. the version they are developing for windows 2003 requires payment.
