xpy:cannot restore new style start menu

Aftr i applied tha auto detection settings,Xpy applied the classic start menu.Then i'd like to restore the new Start Menu(introduced with Xp) but in "Control Panel-Taskbar an start menu settings" there's no way to restore it.Before Xpy made his changes there was the possibility to choose between "classic" and "new" start menu,but now there's only the former!The latter voice has disappeared. No fortune also with the restore function of xpy.Can someone tell a way to rollback that change?

if you made a system restore point before, try that.

also, are you going into the taskbar settings by right clicking on the taskbar then going to properties?
