Joides
Hi all,I've just upgraded to IE 7 beta 3 to see if it is any better than 6 was.My problem is that I don't like the toolbar setup the way it is. I'm old and set in my ways.I like the "menu bar" at the top and not below I like the refresh, home and stop buttons next to the forward and back buttons The address bar is just way to long, it could be smaller and then I could add the icons that I require from the tab line to it Where did my go button go. I'm a lazy mouse man, left click right click you know what I mean So now I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction, so that I can have more control of these toolbars. Maybe someone knows of a plug in I could install? Or am I just doing things wrong at my end Please help, or I'll have to return to using Firefox. Thanks in advance and also thanks to anyone who has read this, this far. JRosenfeld
You can get the menu bar at the top with a simple registry edit:http://www.tech-recipes.com/internet_explo...7_tips1375.htmlYou can put the links bar (if you use that) on the same line as the menu bar.You can customize the command bar, adding/removing icons.Other than that, you can't change the location of the buttons, and they have said they will not change that in IE 7.The refresh button doubles as the Go button:If you type or paste an address in the address bar it changes from refresh to a green arrow.
