OUTLOOK MAIL PROGRAM FAILURE

This failure began when the Junk Email Folder was accidentally deleted.. That folder was originally created by SPAMBAYES (a free program which has been used for three years). The first indications of OUTLOOK failure were as follow: When I clicked the email icon to load OUTLOOK, this error message appeard: OUTLOOK FAILED TO START CORRECTLY LAST TIME. Start OUTOOK in safe mode will help correct or isolate a start up problem …..

This error repeats in an endless loop. First offering to send the error to Microsoft, then OUTLOOK starts in safe mode, the OUTLOOK window indicates that it is in SAFE MODE, and email appears normal. But, upon exiting OUTLOOK, then when I click the mail icon, Iam presented with the same error sequence. I have attempted to eliminate the problem by following Microsoft’s instructions, first by using the disks that came with the computer. When that didn’t solve anything, I went to Microsoft’s web site and reinstalled all of the updates that found automatically by scanning my computer.

I am at wits end. Nothing I have tried will get me out of the error loop when I click the email icon. Once I go through that drill, I can get my email program operating in SAFE MODE. But I would like to solve this problem
