How to run HCT12.1 for a Virtual COM port device/driver

Featured Replies

I was wondering whether anyone would share their expertise on running HCT's on a virtual COM port driver. Basiclly we have a wireless product which provides a virtual COM port device, which is inturn used for running AT commands. And is enumerated in the Device Manager as a COM port as such. I am not very sure how to go about running the HCT kit on such a device which is physically not present. The WHQL site also doesn't give any pointers. I think I need to run tests in the Unclassified category, but then if there are any tests which do a read/write, I cannot attach a loopback (as the port is virtual). Your help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
