RoyL Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 The process is like this:Use unattended Windows CD (Created with the help of the informative MSFN site here)Install applicationsBuild the default userRun sysprep to clear the SIDs (without restarting the computer)Use MS Backup to create the imageput that image file into a DVDThis becomes the image On a new computer, I would use a unattended Windows CD to install a base WindowsThen run the image file using MS backup But I always get registry errors, etc. I received a:PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED BSOD beforeUnable to write into the registry before the minisetup starts with sysprepHas anyone used MS backup as their image and used it successfully? Any help is appreciated..Thanks!
