Can't create OU's

Hi,

I'm trying to work through MCSE self study kit(2003). Tryed to create an OU but the option is blanked out

and not in the menu. I'm using the Domain Admin account so I can't understand why it won't let me create

a new one. Am I going nuts or is there a GP blocking this or something I need to do.

Any help greatly appreciated

is this a test machine you setup? where are you trying to create this OU at?

I can create a new structure under the domain. Is there a restriction on creating OU's under the default

OU e.g. USERS?

That is correct,

the default groups folders (OU's) that come with AD will not allow a Sub OU to be created, you will need to create your own OU then create Sub OUs as needed
