Hi all. I unknowingly installed localhost services on my win XP Home edition pc.

I think it was during Oracle 10g setup.

this is the kind of address I get using Oracle Browser Admin.

:no:::" target="_blank">:no:::" target="_blank">:no:::" target="_blank">:no:::" target="_blank">:no:::" target="_blank">:no:::" target="_blank">http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=4550:11:250...81468580::no:::

or like this

http://localhost:8080/apex/f?p=4500:1000:3010922792604343

how can I find the directorystructure or even the root directory please ?

any tips appreciated,

thanks. :wub:

I am no expert at running local webservers but from your 1st error line it appears that the target has to be a local webserver on your machine. 127.0.0.1 is your loopback nic address & the 8080 is the usual web access port address.

Try to put a # mark in your hosts file before the above referred ip address & see what the response is.
