There are some errors on one of the Domain controller. I would like to depromo and dcpromo to AD. Can I depromo the server, then dcpromo the server with same name and network setting?


Yes you can do that but first you need to see what type of errors they are, perhaps post the entries from the event log so we can see them. DNS, FRS, Application, System logs check 'em all.
