no internet connection with Beta 2 build 5456

I have a broadcom onboard nick. It works fine but i don't get any internet connection. My adsl moden won't give a good ip adres.

When i switch over to my windows xp disk it works fine..

who can help me ?

do you get an IP adress if so what kind? is it an APIPA Ip? did you need software for your ADSL modem on XP? did you have to dail up to your modem before? need more details if you want us to help
