Trying to schedule a Defrag on Windows XP Home, daughter-in-law's older Dell.

I've enabled the Task Scheduler to "wake up comuter to run", set time, etc. How do I get Defrag to run without manually selecting the button "defragment"? [I want to be sleeping...]

Thank you!

Go to Start > Run and type "cmd /k defrag /?" (without the "") You'll find your answer in the cmd window!

WOW!!! That was so fast, I had to duck! I've done as you said, and scheduled one for tomorrow a.m. at 4:00. Now, if my typing is accurate, it should work. Many, many thanks.
