azray Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Tried to install the Vista beta dvd from MSFT and since I dual boot it will only allow a clean install. Is there a way around this problem?

Such as what OSes do you dual boot with?It shouldn't stop you from upgrading anyway, if you dual boot, single boot or triple boot. But in order to be able to upgrade you have to start the installation from within Windows.It really is better off doing a clean install anyway. Vista is still in Beta, and its in Beta for a reason. Upgrades are notoriously a major cause of many problems you'll experience.
