I am a Electronics Security Specialist.

I currently maintain a closed computer network that mainly handles live video from a 100 camera CCTV system. The computer network is all single mode fiber. We use a couple of cisco 3550 routers. THe PC's are 3ghz machines with a gig of ram and a 160gig hd. I use win xp pro on the workstations. We also have some industrial DVR's recording and feeding video out to the pc's. We use windows embedded on those units.

Several of the DVR's have 1 terabite external raid storage units made by promise technologies.
