raghvendraxu Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 hii tryed every trick to install my system drivers unattended but they fail in microsoft vertual pc 2004 they always show some other driver's name but when i try it on my pc [ not virtual , only driver's are tested ] they install properly and shows correct driver name [ installed as software with switch provided] now my question is this is happenning due to virtual pc or what is the problem plz help me guy's i m very thankfull to u if u guy's help methanking u raghvendra
Kelsenellenelvian Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Virtual PC does not emulate your hardware it has its own hardware specs so your drivers are not going to install in virtual pc.

prx984 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 (edited) best thing in your situation would be to get another harddrive and install windows on that in place of the drive your using right now and test with that install. having one hard drive in at a time will reduce the risk of messing up your main harddrive. thats about the only way your going to get around that without reloading your main partition.
