can't disable the network

hello ... i ran into a problem and i don't know what to do.... when i try to disable my network connection it says it is being used by another protocol and it can not be disabled... what can i do to solve the problem ??? i tryed replacing the netcfgx.dll file from system32 folder with the original one on the cd , but it still doesn't work ... pls, i need an advice

I had this problem with bad 3com drivers. Change the driver, this should solve the problem if it's the same origin.
