clipboard not working

hiya, got a weird problem here,

got a windows 2000 sp4 pc, that this morning the cut, copy, paste feature stopped working on. i've tried the usual stuff, deleting temp files, resetting ie settings, empting cookies. lowering privacy settings, and security, , i even restarted the clipbook service, all with no luck. and google isnt helping me on this one. any ideas?

Does the rpc service is working ?

If no the computer might be infected by some virus.

Also try to reboot as it's a MS computer....
