gbarrows Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 MstView.txtI have created an MST file using the Custom Installation Wizard from the M$ Office 2003 Resource Kit. One of the main customisations that I specified when creating the mst was 'Run all from my computer' for the entire installation. To test the mst file I copied the Office 2003 installation CD to C:\Test on a Windows XP SP2 workstation. I then copied the mst file to the same location and then ran the installation from a command line:C:\Test>Setup.exe TRANSFORMS=OutlookUpgrade.mst /qrThe installation runs as expected and completely removes the previous version of office (2000). However it has not done a complete installation as per my 'Run all from my computer' selection. Is there anyone who can take a look at my MST file to check that it is correct? I have attached it to this post. (MSTView.txt)Any guidance on this would be gratefully received.
metalguy90 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 try the following:C:\Test>PRO11.MSI TRANSFORMS=OutlookUpgrade.mst /qr
taj Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Gbarrows:Please remove your Office 2003 serial from the attached file MSTView.txt (if you can't, then a mod should do it)...- Taj
