zirtman Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I am trying to upgrade my O/S from Media Center to XP Pro. Pro will not allow me to install over the top of Media Center. I am told that I have to format my hard drive to get the install to go. I do not have a recovery CD for Media Center. I have backed up my hard drive to a external usb drive. I need to have a boot device if things don't go well with the Pro install. How do I do this?
