StYleY Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Hello,First of all I'm not sure if this is the right section to ask this, if not, can a moderator please move it?(I've tried searching these forums for more info but it's like searching for a needle in a haystack)I've never updated chipset drivers, people recommended me to do so, so I thougt I'd give it a go, only 1 problem, it's harder than it seems...I've searched the Intel site for chipset drivers, but it's very confusing, and when I thought I finally got it, it only was a 1mb .exe installation(other people had 40mb installation files), so something didn't look right, that's why I am asking for your help.Chipset version : i865PEIf you need more information, please ask. Thanks for any help in advance!StYleY
oioldman Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 try this link:http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df...x?DwnldID=10733got there by going to intel.comclick on teh drivers & support linkclick on the INF Update Utility underthe heading Popular downloadsit includes the 865 family chipsetORclick on the download center link on the leftseelct chipsets on the leftselect chipset software or desktop chipsetsselect desired optionthey do appear to be only 1mb big for the 865 family
