I'm trying to get networking to work inside of either Virtual PC or VMware and am failing to do so. With the original NON-Nlited version I can get networking to respond and after Nlite nothing network wise will work. I know it is something I have done with Nlite so I have attached my last session for troubleshooting. T D Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 If you're emulating windows xp pro, the driver intel generic gigabit ethernet is installed. Right click the cd icon in virtual pc, click settings, click networking (or something) and choose shared networking (nat).On vmware, near the bottom, click the icon of a green chip (near the cd icon) and choose shared networking (nat).Don't remove anything to do with networking in the drivers section of component removal (except maybe wlan, unless you use it). And check your hardware support for anything networking and don't remove it.I'm not bothered to read anyone's last session.ini, they're too long.
