I have fireworks 8 working OK as a silent installer but the problem comes when launching it.

I use an unattended script (at the runonce stage) to install pcs for a network so user accounts are restricted.

When a standard user launches it, they get the error:

"Your user privilages do not allow Fireworks to update your registry"

If i log on as a admin user, run it, then log back in at a normal user its fine so i made a installer package that picks up the changing reg keys and have them install during the buld process but its not that simple as I think it creates a unique key for each PC.

Is there any way to stop this or integrate it into a batch file as im trying to get the install process as unattended as possible.

I have also tried the start command from the batch file to launch fireworks as the admin user runonce runs as and a utility to close it after a minute but the error still appears, you still have to manually run and close it once logged in as an admin user or the runonce account

I read an artical with the same problem on adobes site but this referes to fireworks 4, there must be an easy fix for 8?

cheers
