Jeroeneke Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Is there any way to run the windows installation from the hard drive ?So making a partition where all the contents from the installation cd are on, and then boot from that partition so the windows installation starts. This would make the update process of your "cd" much more easy and is a good thing if you have enough space (off course you keep a backup on cd )This idea just came up in me, don't know if it's good or not ...
Bezalel Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 You need to run winnt32 with the /makelocalsource switch. I do this for all computers I without a cdrom drive.
