random error before vista installs

well this is the error screen i am getting before the install.

"You must make the following changes before installing Windows

Close Windows installation and contact the device manufacturer for updated

driver software for these devices:

Your computer is not compatible with Windows Vista, so Windows Vista cannot

be installed. "

the upgrade adviser said i can run all the elements of vista but i don't have a clue why

it isn't installing. it installs fine on my laptop which has a lower specs

well i hope someone here can help me out

post the info about your computer (speed, ram, HD, video card, manufacters etc) this will help us find out if there is an issue, the upgrade assitant isn't really that good, sadly it tells lots of people they can run vista when they can't

ati 9800 pro

2 western digital 250gig hd's

1 segate 300gig hd

those are my basic specs.
