DeltaZero Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Using Server 2003 & XP workstations with roaming profiles. Problem is if a user deletes a file from their desktop once they log off and log back on it reappears. It's as though it never gets deleted from the server copy! Any suggestions?
MurphysLawConsulting Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) Check to see that you're not using Roaming Profiles with a Folder Redirection GPO. If so, when the user deletes the shortcut, they're deleting the server copy. Then, when they log off, the workstations synchronize the two profiles by uploading the local copy to the server, replacing the deleted icons. Edited June 15, 2006 by MurphysLawConsulting
