Formula Help

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this is even possible, but I would like to use a formula that could do the following.

If (cell#) is greater than (a number in another cell) multiply by (a number in another cell)

If it is greater than (a number in another cell) or less than (a number in another cell) multiply by (a number in another cell) (repeat the bold area 2 more times)

Thanks

From what i can make out you are looking for

if A1 > B1 then AA1=A1*C1

If A1 >A2 and A1 <B2 AA2=A1*C2

.......

where AA1 and AA2 are used as tempoary hold cells

(As i dont think A1=A1*C1 works in excel)

Is this right
