wildkiki Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 So I'm quite embarassed. The computer at my job runs a Windows ME OS, and has Microsoft Office 2000 Sr-1 Premium. My outlook wasn't running correctly, and I couldn't figure why, so I figured, updating it wouldn't hurt (wooh I was wrong). I go to Microsoft.com, dl the sr3 update, and attempt to install it. It asks for a cd, which I obviously don't have, so I cancel installation. From that point on, every time I try and open Excel, it attempts to update it, and asks for the cd that I don't have, when I cancel it, closes the whole thing. How do I fix this, without a cd, I don't even want the update anymore, I just want to be able to run it.Thanks much,Nik

I'm not sure if there is a solution for you without the cd or install files.
