install unattend xp on 2000

please guide me for install unattend xp in 2000

i create unattend.txt & winnt.sif and copy to i386 but when install winxp

the serial number not saved please help me

Make sure this is in your winnt.sif

[UserData]
ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xx-x-x--x-xxx

Or whatever your sn is

i make winnt.sif and enter ProductKey but when install winxp in 32bit mode serial number not shown and serial number box is empty

but in dos mode serial number is okay

Make a batch file for 32bit mode:

CMDOW @ /HID
cd %CURDIR%
.\i386\winnt32.exe /Unattended[5]:[winnt.sif]

It's something like that. Winnt32 doesn't read the answer file by default. put the batch in the root of your cd.

This copies all neccessary files and reboots your pc after 5 seconds.

If it doesn't work, try removing the [ ] brackets.
