caballoazul Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Hello guys, total newbie here, and computer illiterate.I just purchased a laptop, and I set up an account for me and one for a guest. But when someone needs to print, save or do other stuff on the laptop while being on the guest account they can't. I've tried to play with it a little bit, but I can't seem to find the solution.Other thing, something off this topic. I bought a compact wireless-G USB adapter Linksys, when I install the software in the laptop, the account user window where I log onto my account dissapears and does not work anymore. I've read some info about this common problem, but I cannot find the way to fix the problem. Can I use this adapter to connect to the internet at Wi-Fi places such as the library, etc?wow, thanks for your time beforehandcaballoazul
LiquidHonesty Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Windows Version?? I'm assuming XP. If so go change the user account type to "user" and they'll have more permissions.
