[Help] problem with network connections folder

My network connections folder shows no icons, windows firewall appears to be disabled. this happend when MS installed the WGA nag-ware [http://zealforum.myvnc.com/index.php?showtopic=629] and before i removed it.

the network connections folder says the service may be stoped, but its shown as running in the services list.

any ideas?

Do you have a connection regardless? If not try creating a new connection and see if that corrects your icon/connection issue.
