Error on domain logon

Hello,

I wonder what can cause WindowsXP to error with the message

A device attached to the system is not functioning

when logging in a Samba 3.0.22 Domain Controller

I did some googlin' and saw that other guys too have this problem, but no answer.

If anyone has any ideas please help.

On the client, check the following values:

Key: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA

Value: lmcompatibilitylevel

Value: restrictanonymous

You might try setting those to 0 and reboot, and see what happens.

Those values are already set to 0.

I realized that i get this error only for a user that has a local profile on the machine too.

Any other ideas?
