Ap0kalipSe Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Hello,I'm trying to boot a linux based bootable CD via RIS like you can with BartPE. The disk in question is the Firmware Maintenance CD 7.50 for HP ProLiant servers. Here's my winnt.sif[SetupData]BootDevice = "ramdisk(0)"BootPath = "\i386\System32\"OsLoadOptions = "/noguiboot /fastdetect /minint /rdexportascd /rdpath=%INSTALLPATH%\%MACHINETYPE%\fw.iso"Architecture = "i386" [RemoteInstall]Repartition = No[OSChooser]Description = "Firmware Maintenance 7.50"Help = "Firmware Maintenance 7.50"LaunchFile = "%INSTALLPATH%\%MACHINETYPE%\templates\startrom.com"ImageType = WinPEVersion = "5.2 (0)"It errors after downloading the ISO stating it cannot fine the txtsetup.txt file. This is presumably because it's loading startrom.com which is expecting a Windows CD.I have successfully before loaded linux via RIS using pxelinux, but this doesn't support booting from an ISO, or at least I cannot find how to do it. Any thoughts much appreciated.
