Hi all,

We have a problem sysprepping a Fujitsu Siemens Scenic E machine. We have a base image from an IDE based machine that we then SYSPREP and redownload onto any machine. So far, everything has worked wonderfully and the SYSPREP process and SYSPREP.INF file are configured in such a way that all devices are detected and installed.

However, the SCENIC E uses an the INTEL 8280 SATA drives and we simply cannot get the SCENIC E to boot afterwards, it always blue screens.

Has anyone managed to SYSPREP a similar machine? If so, what are the correct entries for the MassStorageSection in the SYSPREP.INF file?

The SATA controller is an Intel 8280FB/FBM

I'll assume the required SATA drivers are loaded by your statement. Are you getting a Stop 0x0000007B? If so it may be a problem w/the HAL you're using on the image.
